My friend and I had a stunning day. 13 hours of spotting, from sunrise to sunset. We went to 8 different location just for the fun.

I fully agree. Two times cops were approaching us , but they did not ask what we are doing. We talked to them if everything would be fine and they just said: yeah! We even talked with them about HB-IQZ (Edelweiss sole A330) and stuff, pretty cool.

Not to mention what cops in the US or GB would have said.

Pierre, that's how it used to be at Miami airport 10 years ago until 911 paranoia put an end to the "freedom" of spotting.

As for the pics the A380 looks like a huge cruise line boat from that angle :mrgreen: / guessing the Qatar A340 is A7-HHK?

I'll be flying coming through ZRH from Miami on the way to JNB in July and from JNB to Miami at the beginning of August. We'll be going into the city for hte day on the way to JNB and I'll be spotting on the way back.
