Last wednesday 1 August Emirates would enter Amsterdam Schiphol Airport with her A380-800.
From the moment we did know about it we did look forward. She's amazing and we do have a lot of places for capturing this bird.
Thousands of people came to the airport. But the big question was the runway in use for the landing by Emirates.
So she landed at runway 18C "Zwanenburgbaan" and thousands of people were at the wrong runway,RW18R.
Gladly I decided visiting the right one after some calls with friends.

You're right,it's really quiet even as the new Boeing 747-8.
I did catch the newest 747-8 in the dark by AirBridgeCargo.
The next morning I did videograph also the takeoff ,and yes,by daylight.
