PHL 9/24-9/25 (William, you're gonna be mad at me )
So, sinceI was in town for Rotor Fest I decided to get in some spotting at PHL since I figured it would be a good chance to get some USAirways specials. I went out a little bit on Saturday morning before Rotor Fest and then again in the afternoon on Saturday. And then all day on Sunday. William, it was great to meet you and hang out for a bit. Glad you made it out.
I have a few edited so far.....
Saturday morning the air was so humid that the UPS 767 was blowing vapor almost up over the top of the fuselage.
Steve you were our guest down here, no hard feelings at all. I live here, I can get to PHL anytime. I'm glad it was a worthwhile trip for you.
Had a blast on Saturday! Especially doing 80mph down Hog Island Rd to catch the Lufthansa departure, I felt like I was in a Starsky & Hutch episode(that probably dates me). Dude did you ever head out to any of the bars on Sat night and find someone to do a photoshoot?

William - I actually saw the PSA and Piedmont both three times at PHL on Sunday. I got shots of Piedmont all three times, but only once of the PSA. The two out of three times for PSA it was taxiing to/from the gate. Saturday was definitely a good time, and especially racing down Hog Island Rd to catch the Lufty 340. I don't even think I had the car completely in park as I jumped out with my camera in hand just in time to catch her blasting off. I actually hit almost 110 on that road on Sunday heading to the Fire Training lot to catch Piedmont taking off. And no, I never headed into the city on Saturday night. I had my dinner and when I got to the hotel to drop my gear off, the whole day caught up with me and I passed out.
