Aviation film screening in Washington DC October 6th
I wanted to let the NYC Aviation community know about a film screening that might be of some interest to the community here.
The film is called “Charlie Victor Romeo.” It is based on the final moments of several well-known airplane incidents, including United 232 and JAL 123. The screening will be on Monday October 6th at 6:30pm at the E Street Cinema at 555 11th St NW (near Metro Center) in Washington DC.
Here is a trailer and information including how to reserve tickets:

The New York Times review of the film is here:

5% of the ticket sale proceeds will go the Flight Safety Foundation.
If you or any of your friends/colleagues are interested, please join. Please also feel free to forward this e-mail on to anyone you think might be interested. Hope to see fellow NYC Aviation folks there, including some of the folks I met this weekend at JFK UN weekend spotting.

I heard about this from a friend when it was screened in Chicago several years back. Sounds interesting
