Looks like we lost another MD-11 operator now. I guess its about that time to start posting those "Memory shots.
I guess I'll star with a few then.

Nice shots there. I think we are down to 3 operators of the MD-11 in the US. FDX, UPS and CAC what a travesty.

World stopped MD-11 flying months ago, and were only operating 1 or 2 747s I believe as of the day of their demise.
To me, it's about time. I feel bad for the employees but the airline hasn't made money in years and the only reason they remained as long as they did was because their sister airline, North American, was profitable EVERY year. Unfortunately NAA was dragged down with them through two bankruptcies and all sorts of bull because the holding company had a bias for World. Imagine a company going bankrupt more than once even though it's consistently making profits. Corruption, anyone?

Looks like the WOA MD-11s were flying regular flight up to just a few days ago - although extremely sporadic with a MIX of WOA and CMB March 26th. They were flying N271WA and N272WA. Both are now ferried to KGYR
There are some WOA flights mixed in there as well minus the ferry flights.
