Good group of spotters out today.
I've put together an hour by hour account of my spotting outing today.

Impressive set Eric. You nailed it today. Wish I had hung around for that AMX 78-

Eric, great photos...
I did drive to Howard Beach today, waited a little and, after seeing "no action" - (just a couple of planes took off while I was there) for about 15-20 min, I drove to Costco's.
Hopefully, Eric won't mind that I'll post(on the tread he started) some of mine taken @ Costco's today:
Well, I drove for a few minutes to Inwood Park to get Emirates A380:
Then, back to Costco's - I got some new(I didn't have before) international registrations:

Nice recap, Eric. Work kept me away...again. But that's my last holiday to work this year, so I plan on getting out sometime soon.
Forgot to mention, I was yesterday again approached by Nassau PD officer @ Costco's - he got a call, and all I can say, they're very nice and friendly. After I showed my ID and told where I do upload my pictures, he told me that it was a beautiful day for taking photos and a very good way to spend a day in a fresh air and finally told me before driving off: "have a nice day" and I replied the same: "Thanks and you have a very nice day too"...

Nice set from Howard Beach. I'm assuming they were departing 31L/KE though? Some of those banks look rather high up there...
Guess I have to add this little doozy. Snapped this same day( Feb 17th ) .. your AeroMexico 787, 0:45 minutes after you shot it, high over Virginia bound for MEX.
Cheers from CHO

Sorry, I was confused lol. 31L KE departures are what you want. it's a tricky configuration to anticipate. Need winds from south for 22 landings and 31 departures. -- at least you got the 787 though.

Sunwing coming back north?
Here's a few of mine from Monday. Finally got a chance to try out the new camera body. All shots taken with Canon 1Dx. Daytime shots taken with 300mm+2x TC and night shots taken with 1Dx and 24-105mm
Some visitors sitting on the field
Not the greatest shot, but tried some higher ISO ranges since I forgot my tripod at home

Beautiful photos Steve! Couldn't have asked for a better turn from Aeromexico. And those night shots, damn. No tripod you say? Wow. those are terrific!
