Since the Blue Angels are doing the flyover for the Naval Academy graduation at 10 am Friday morning, what time would they depart Republic?

If you are going to sacrifice a vacation day I would pick Friday since you are pretty much guaranteed to see them fly at least twice.

Blue Angel Selfie!!!! Great!!
Hey guys, So I plan to be out Friday... But I was wondering if we can get a Group chat going. Something either through group texts or apps like "Groupme" so everybody can be informed by everybody. Therefor, giving those in the chat first hand info rather than having to check NYCAVIATION every 15 minutes or so for updates. Tell me if you would be interested and we'll see if we can get something going. Happy air show week.
Probably the youngest spotter ever to walk up the face of the mounds.

I was down near Captree this afternoon, and saw Sean Tucker and his photo plane making some passes.

Newsday has a cool air-to-air photo of Tucker flying over the Jones Beach Tower in his Oracle Extra 300 in today's paper.
You can even see the new picnic area they've built with the 2 large tents where the old JB restaurant used to be.
