    JFK 3-18-12

I was out at Costco and eventually the mounds with Dennis today. It was very nice weather and we got a load of specials. Very surprised not to see anyone else out. Was anyone hiding anywhere? Pictures on the way.

I was planning on coming out after Twitter Baseball, but I was too tired to make it. Glad you guys got a bunch of specials.

And here is the best of what I got today:

Apparently, this aircraft is in the process of being painted in Frontier colors. N290SK

And again on a sister aircraft N292SK

This was my first time seeing this colorful paint job!

The contrails were noticeable in the above shots at Costco, but they got crazy at The Mounds. Made for some interesting shots as the fog rolled in:

    Special!

    Special!

The fog rolled in real fast. The AF A380 was coming in 31L and at about 200 feet just vanished into clouds, it was pretty awesome to watch. ILS ftw?

Thank you! It was a really fun day out there with Dennis and some other guy from Geneva. Even met one of my twitter followers.
