The Snowbirds were coming in from Winnipeg.
I left FRG tonight after #1 - #3 came in and they were still waiting for #4 - #9 to arrive.

Anyone sure if there is a fee to get into the parking fields tomorrow at the beach?

Also, which field is best to park in to see them practice from the car?

Yes, they are charging for parking($10) tomorrow. I was down there to pick up my empire pass this afternoon.

Good Friday morning. Just drove past Jones Beach on the way to work and the weather is gross. Overcast, heavy fog and moderate rain. Visibility is down to around 200 yards. NWS has issued a heavy fog warning thru 10AM followed by cloudy conditions until early afternoon. They may get some practice in later today but the morning is a wash.

Whole lotta nothing happening at FRG right now. Fog, on and off rain...

Snowbirds 1-3 got in last night, but the rest spent the night in central PA and hope to get in this morning. They were going to fly around 10:30 and again later today, but the morning hop is probably history.

Looks like the fog has gotten worse in the past hour, so I don't expect much to happen any time soon. Once things do improve, we still have a gaggle of planes that have to arrive before they can think about practice.
