Eric, that's an awesome, awesome image. I just wish you'd zoomed in a little more. Even if I knew the girl, I wouldn't be able to recognize her (unless that was your point, in which case it's very Spielberg of you...).
Here are a few from Christmas this year with my new 5D Mk II and the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 (what a combination!).
I don't know if I've included this link in past posts or not, but the big development for me has been the launch of my new wedding photography site (and an associated blog), which I created after finally joining forces with my shooting partner (we'd previously been two separate entities).

There are a few ways to do this if I remember my science correctly. One involves Corn Syrup, Water Food Coloring and Alcohol... the other is strictly with Sugar and various amounts of water and food coloring... best is to do it with your kids and watch their faces in amazement.
I just showed my daughter a cool old school punk trick where we would take dry ice, empty PLASTIC soda bottles and a little hot water... can you say Kaboom? Do NOT attempt with glass... you've been warned.

BRING BACK THE KJFK/KLGA OBSERVATION DECKS
Bingo, I used salt, clear was just water, second layer was 2 table spoons, next was 4 then 6 then 8. The pain is mixing it. I used a straw with a funnel attached, I put paper towel in it to slow the filling as not to mix it up and slowly poured the least dense liquids in first making the previous layer rise. In the end I have a rainbow that will last a few days depending on how constant the temp stays in the apartment. The bigger changes to temp will cause convection currents that will mix the water faster.
Nice Job Manny!

I have used a large ladle and poured over the back of the ladle to make a very slow and WIDE drop ... it is HARD.. .it took me like 20 tries when I first tried it like 20 years ago hahahaaha ... I learned it in High School at a science fair from another kid. Too cool!
