None of those will be accepted, Lucas. They are all backlit, most are not cropped close enough or centered properly, and you clipped off the end of the horizontal stab (and I think the right wing tip) on the Delta DC-9.

To add to Moose's point, there is a lot of grain in these shots as well. Very noticeable in the SWA head on. These are the ones for your personal collection.

    Lucas

My best personal advice I can give you, is to just go on jetPhotos and go through as many photos in the database as you can, look and learn on how they are cropped, the contrast, the color ..etc .. This is a great way to see what is except able in their eyes for your photos to have a chance and make it in

Read this guide, this will explain everything you need to know, http://forums.jetphotos.net/showthread.php?t=44854

Lucas, start without thinking about the camera. This should be your first step:

    --Sun behind you
    --Plane in front of you

That step alone will improve things tremendously.

After that, set your camera to

    --APERTURE priority
    --ISO 320
    --Set your aperture to f/8
    --Matrix Meter

Enjoy... and by all means CENTER YOUR Planes... Until you have that down pat, you MUST CENTER your planes...

    Greetings!
I submitted this one to Jetphotos.net too quickly and missed some dust and framing issues, so rejected. Here's another edit that hopefully addresses those issues. Does anyone see anything that I may have missed? Does it need a bit of contrast? Suggestions are more than appreciated!
    Regards, Mike

it does look a little low in the frame Mike - I usually line to center of the picture on the window line - I haven't looked at it in PS - just a casual quick glance...
