Report: Delta, Northwest Merger Talks Over

ATLANTA -- CBS 46 News has learned that a source close to the merger talks between Northwest and Delta airlines said Thursday that both airlines have walked away from negotiations.

Take this with a grain of salt , simply reporting the news but not sure if this is confirmed.

According to the article now, they are claiming it is FALSE.

So, now I am not sure.

I'm doubt they'd call it quits so soon being they have few other options. It's been 2 1/2 years and US and America West pilots still haven't found a solution, I would expect this to take awhile too.

Ya, when I got the link, it was a confirmed thing, DL/NW was done and over.

Then when I clicked the link, it re stated and said it was FALSE, hence my suspicions being raised.
