WHOA! There had to be some whiplash on that plane! Surprised it held up.

Re: Hard landing at LCY - Swiss

Maybe not the first hard landing of a Swiss BAE-146 at LCY but in August a Swiss BAE-146 had a very, very hard landing and ended up with damage to her belly. 3 months later she finally left LCY for Switzerland in December.

I flew in and out of LCY back in 2005 on an Air France BAE-146 and I have to say I certainly didn't have a hard landing but the angle of attack when you are on final approach is intense! When I got out of the plane I watched the same arrival that we had just followed except with a VLM F-50 and it was an incredible dive.

Looks like he also had a serious crosswind...he was crabbed about 15 degrees!

And that is why I love the jumbolino! It is such a great plane to fly on :borat:
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

That was an enormous crosswind! Very hard landing...looks like the plane was swerving all over the runway!

Hahaha I could just imagine the conversation between Swiss and the pilots:

Swiss: You want us to pay you TRIPLE!
Pilots: Hey, you've seen the youtube video, three bounces, THREE LANDINGS!
