From Joe Baugher. That Hornet had priors!
164198 McDonnell Douglas F/A-18D-32-MC Hornet (Lot 13)
C/n 961/DO63. With VFA-106 suffered midair collision with 164215
during air combat maneuvering Nov 23, 1996 off Georgia
coast. Both aircraft recovered at NAS Cecil Field, FL.
(VFA-106) fell into Atlantic Ocean off Virginia Capes Sep 11, 2003
after arrester wire broke during landing on USS George
Washington. Pilot ejected safely, but 12 members of
flight deck crew were injured.
Whose Sukhoi is that in the second video? Russian? Indian?
Probably Russian. The deck on India's one carrier does not look like that. And I don't think they have any Su's yet.Originally Posted by Mateo
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
