Bill, I'd say you're off to a great start.

where you that you had this view?

Hi Fred, I shot them either at F8 or F9, I'll have to check the exif data later. I took them from Newark Tower. We were prety slow on Thanksgiving night.
Ok guys, here's a few more I took last night. Comments? Thoughts? What do you guys do in photoshop after you merge them?
Thanks,
Bill
It looks like the first shot has the Light Smoothing slider all the way to the left or close to it.... This usually gives Halo's and a
soft appearance, push the slider all the way to the right and it will do little to no editing, I usually use it one or two clicks
from the right unless I want to go apesh!t. Your last two images look alot sharper, but it really depends on what you are
trying to do. I usually find that when I am processing with a really bad lighting, Less color saturation will help.
Original / Less satuation
Above image I raised the Dark end of Levels about 5% to make the black, blacker (IE, more contrast Less HDR)
The image does not look as much like what most peolple think an HDR is but there is tons of detail left in the white aircraft
itself. I think that all three shots are a good expample of HDR and that view is wild. As you can see my change was
MINOR at best but that is just how I would process. I love the over saturation but not with that lighing at the airport. I
wish they had good lights! With almost everything else, I like to oversaturate a bit.
I look foward to seeing how WILD and tame you can get new images. The best thing to remember is go way out of bounds
in different ways.... Your at a much better start than I was this early. :borat: Excellent!
It is a lot of fun to watch others attempts, Everytime John posts, I want to run out to his spot!....Don't get me wrong,
yours isn't bad either.... Nudge Nudge
You throw a good zoom and let a few HDR cook on some aircraft sitting at the gate with all the lights on and we are going
to have some words my friend.... Especially if you bring that down to f16 or so!!!! NURSE..... My MEDS!!!!

Okay guys, need your opinions...did I overdo it?
Yes you did, but I like it anyway...the pastel skys really are over the top yet the best part! YOUR BAD :borat:

My first attempts at HDR shooting...I doubt I actually NEEDED to go with an HDR, but it sure looks better than anything else I came up with in a single exposure....any input is welcome and encouraged!
Have you ever seen a grown man naked?
Look at those reflections pop... I like the slight oversaturation, very nice! :borat:
(I never would have framed that image like that, but I like it alot!)

Eric,
Those Singapore shots are great. What is that dome building in the last shot? It reminds me of the city in Logan's Run. Thanks for sharing.
