It's worth it if it's there. Really sharp paint scheme.

Besides the Zero-G B727-200 parked at Five Towers, a Miami Air B737-800 was parked close to the ARFF station while refueling.

Looks like the Zero G 727 is scheduled to fly on Mar 31 (Saturday), according to their website they still have 2 seats left for the bargain price of just under $5000.00 USD although after taxes its $5197.50. No departure time posted but in the past they usually depart around 1000-1100AM in case anyone wants to try and grab a departure shot which is free.
AAL386 used 767-300ER with winglets today, just arrived at LGA.

BRING BACK THE KJFK/KLGA OBSERVATION DECKS
Does this qualify as a Special Visitor even though it didn't land? I think it still does.

First time in LGA that I am aware of Omni Air 757-200 N639AX operating for Spirit with their call sign as NK 171 their 1530 departure to FLL.
In my work CRS computer that flight shows operating with 73H equipment Mon-Thur this week so I am wondering if Spirit was planning sub service with Miami Air or Sun Country and at the last minute they got the Omni 75 instead, regardless something out of the ordinary can be expected the next 3 days May 22-24 on NK 180 arriving 1433 and NK 171 departing LGA at 1530.
That was not all, my favorite BBJ N888TY departed and 2 private Jetstream 31's departed one behind the other in identical boring schemes.
Have not seen an Air Canada A-321 here in a few months today I saw 3 all equipment subs.
Fun day at the office

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I was listening to LGA tower at work today and around 2:45p there was someone with the callsign Lima 5 I believe, then at 3:30 Lima 7 was spoken too once or twice.. Anyone know who/what that was?
I believe this was the 1st WestJet flight into LGA this morning, around 8:30 while stuck in traffic on GCP I had a perfect view in front of me while she landed on 4
Kaz yes that was first (since 2004 anyway). Those little 600's look pretty odd as not used to seeing them and several of their departures today took off (from 13) like rockets, I guess the 600 is a little rocket. Despite the so-so weather Westjet seemed to have a pretty smooth first day of ops here.
I know what to chase the next time i come down..

Really good day at the office today (July 2) Special Scheme wise. Highlight was an Air Canada 763 in the Star Alliance scheme, first time I have ever seen a Star scheme Wide Body at LGA. Also the United Retro A-320, jetBlue NY Jets A-320, and Southwests Maryland One. The last two had to hold for a gate so Ground was nice enough to parade them right in front of the office in both directions, NICE !
Cheers
