KLAS, KMHV & KVCV - JANUARY 2015 (20 IMAGES)
Made a quick run out west to get some pix in the nice winter light. Flew out all night on cargo and started early in Las Vegas. Only shot for 2 hours in the morning before hopping a quick flight over to LAX and driving north into the Mojave Desert. Along with a fellow photographer (Nicholas Young - http://www.facebook.com/NickYoungPhotos) we hired a 172 and flew over MHV and VCV over the course of two days. -- If you've never been boneyard shooting, I highly recommend it!

After the HA departure jumped on a SKW CRJ900 and had a uneventful ride over to LAX. Blue skies the entire way and a speedy arrival over the Innout. Met my friend and headed north straight for the desert.

Quick stop on the Victorville ramp when an unmarked 737 dropped in to do pattern work and ATC would not accommodate.

After the sun went down flew back to base and put the 172 to bed. Then a peaceful drive down 14 and the 405 back to LAX and celebrated two solid days of photography with some Innout at Sepulveda (yes, dat double double!)
Hope you enjoyed the pix.

Great shots, that FalconAir is certainly a beauty.

What a great set of images to describe your trip. The boneyard shots were amazing. I can see how that is worth the trip and the cost of the 172.
