Straight from AAMs facebook
I also put a ton of information on my website http://nyasinfo.com
A rumor is buzzing.....looks like there is potential for some more guests on our ramp on static display. Appears the Navy may be bringing in an EA-6B, and possibly an E/F-18 Growler. Thanks to our friends at Northrop Grumman for this one!

On the AAM Facebook page about a "rumor" coming from Northrop Grumman that an EA-6B and an E/F-18 Growler will be coming in to FRG for static display at the AAM ramp.
If we do get the EA-6 and EA-18, they will be from VAQ-129.[FONT='lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif]

Now that the arrestor bed has been installed, do they still need to put in the arrestor cable? If not, does that mean all landings will be on runway 14?
If thst's the case, atleast the sun will be favorable.
EVERYONE IS THERE TO SEE THE SHERPA!
Edit: I just went back and saw that John posted that the arresting cable would be installed on Sunday or Monday, and he said to expect the Rhody C-130 to arrive a couple of days before that with all the equipment.

Looks like the Blue Angels and possibly the two Snowbirds will arrive Monday afternoon.

Looks to me like this is shapeing up to be one of the better shows since they began at Jones Beach, cant wait ,the next week or so is going to be very exciteing .
I confirmed tonight at the AAM Volunteer meeting that the weekend pass is simply that - four days admission for the price of three. They were thinking about guys like us, and were hoping to be able to offer some type of special access for photographers, but were unable to make all the arrangements necessary for security and logistics. They have changed the name of the pass on the ticket sales site.
Even without special access, it's a good deal if you are going to be at the museum all weekend. Also, if you are only going one day, you should buy your tickets in advance. Advance purchase tickets are $15 for adults (the same as the museum's special event admission for the past number of years). That will get you in faster - they will have a ticket holders line, and will save you compared to the $20 admission price if you buy at the door. Advance purchase tickets can be used on any single day of the show weekend - you don't need to choose a specific day at the time of purchase.

As Kenny mentions on his air show web site Dan McLaren and Mach 1 Productions will be at the museum throughout the weekend. They will have their large air show communications trailer on site, and will be broadcasting commentary about the show, as well as pilot communications during the show, at the museum.

If all the Blues are arriving Monday is it likely Ernie and #7 will be in Sunday?
