The track shown looks like it will be far south of JFK area or LI / NYC for that matter...

BRING BACK THE KJFK/KLGA OBSERVATION DECKS
J55 overflies the Hampton VORTAC (which is above Westhampton Beach on L.I.). So you'd have to go pretty far East to see this flight.
Any idea why it's doing such a long flight, other than just testing?

They did a flight the other day with ZA003 I think for about 13 hours. It looks a bit far east for NYC but it is within NYC Aviation membership coverage. Maybe someone will be lucky and have a chance to see it.
