Thanks Moose, but we arrived just before 4pm in N520AE. Great pictures as always though. The CRJ will bring me through CLT more so I'll let you know when I'm back and hopefully we can get together.

ATC in Cuba is really good, however they will make you fly the full approach until you call the field in sight for a visual approach (most of the time). Clearly I was tired when I posted and meant...
In fact they told me I could take some pictures!
This time from Santiago de Cuba on the Southeastern coast of Cuba
They are iPhone pictures so not the best clarity
Enjoy!

Another day in...
Garden City would have a meeting about it....
Even more disturbing is that in Garden City the arrivals are still decently high (2000-3000'). I have zero (0) patience for this kind of nonsense.

Heres one of the KC10 turning final for 13 after circling from the ILS 22. When I get more time I'll go through the rest.
I have some of the KC10 banking for 13 - Jury duty in the morning so hopefully by tomorrow night I will have them up!
Has to be the RB211 on the 757s
Oh, and chicks dig beta...

This JFK controller is without a doubt the most entertaining!!
American 2 Heavy, JFK Tower, You are following the SUPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPER A380
JFK opened about 15 minutes ago. Only 31L is open and it sounded like only a few taxiways as well - this should get interesting. RJA261 is the first at the party after some crazy holding in SE CT and...
According to the FAA OIS site JFK is closed until 5am local tomorrow. Very rare that we actually see JFK shut the door and roll up the carpet.
Moose,
What Blackberry did you get??
Hey All,
I know this will probably get the fire going between us on here but its a legit question I have. As many of you know I've been a crackberry user for about 3 years now. However, last...
Ouch my head hurts....
Anyway I'd say major airlines get somewhere in the ballpark of a 14 hr duty day but a maximum of 8 hours (of the 14) can be flying hours. Beyond the 8 hrs of flying they...
Considering the airplane is not made out of metal and its kind of impossible to buff plastic I don't think we will be seeing any "bare metal" AA 787s
Little Birdie told me the USAF 757 and N888TY were at the Five Towers today....
I wouldnt say that AA is removing mainline and replacing it with Eagle. AA stopped flying LGA-ATL back in I believe 2008. They are restarting it again (along with MSP and CLT) with Eagle -700s.
Killer set, esepcially that CO 757 sequence. Good stuff! :borat:
