Wow...solid line up.
Been a little bit since I updated, and its been a busy/eventful past few months:
An artificial island rises up from the Persian Gulf outside Doha, Qatar:
Thanks guys, appreciate it!
Wound up with an opportunity to shoot a new spot at SeaTac for an hour or so as part of an ongoing photo project for a client. It was a slow, foggy start...but man did it pick up nicely.
Thanks guys! Appreciate the good words.
Made a quick visit to Boeing Field, wound up having a surprisingly productive visit!
Kenya Airways 737-800:
So, where are the photos? I want to see this one :-)
Love that multiple exposure shot Tim...a real beauty (and was glad to see it getting the recognition it deserved).
A few of my favorites:
Damn...those colors are incredible. Like an impressionist painting.
I know we've got a lot of photogs who photograph more than airplane. What are your favorites this year?
Admittedly this is a slightly confusing one!
Just a note, its not the KC-46, it's a prototype 767-2C (also, headed from Paine to Boeing, not Boeing to Paine :-P). Missing lots of stuff!
Was very lucky to land a quick-hit job that took me over to France and down to Doha over the past week. I didn't have a lot of time for spotting, but got a few snaps in along the way:
Let's see your favorite catches of 2014. They don't have to be your best shots (I'm sure a best-of 2014 thread will pop up soon), but they do have to be something rare, or that you've been chasing...
Man, that'd be the catch of the year for me!
Enthusiast turned reporter turned editor turned quasi-reporter.
Great catches, per usual, Senga. I'm a big fan of the A400 as well.
Super cool, glad to see another 200 going into pax service (maybe we hope..)
I really like the new AA colors on the 757...always thought it'd look good on that plane.
After the first two visits went kind of bust, I decided to give Songsham another chance as it was easily accessible by walking as opposed to TPE, whose best spots are a bit more...
Mostly there on business I can't say I had a lot of time to explore, and weirdly for some reason when I did I actually enjoyed going out sans camera. It was no doubt a super fascinating place that I...
TPE...went to a spot called the Miracle Cafe. But a tea with milk every few hours and spot to your hearts content. Trees are getting a bit tall, and weather still poor. But good stop:
