Thanks Fred. That was the first place I looked in case they did another public viewing before they leave. Couldn't find the post.
Nice pics as usual.
First the T-birds at MacArthur and now this. Shame. Was looking forward to seeing those two. I'll probably skip it this year, since its starting to feel like I've seen it all before.
Thanks for sharing. Where was this posted? Thanks!
Very sad news. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends.
Just saw it on the news. Very sad.
Are they offering any weekend passes this year? I believe they did in the past.
WOW! Love those Eastern Shots. I didn't know they were back in business.
I happened to be at Eisenhower Park for the Navy/Marine Landings on Saturday and after the Marine departure at around 2pm I was looking south towards the direction of JB and saw some smoke trails and...
I had positioned myself on the east side, parallel to the main roadway through the park. I'd seen a video where it appeared they had approached from the north so I thought I would be in a good spot....
Decided to check out Eisenhower Park as well for the first time. Couldn't believe how jam packed it was(had to park the car on the grass near the entrance). I missed the Navy Landing at 10AM. I...
Are there any good spots at Islip? The only shots I have of the TB's from 2011 are unrecoverable from the CD I saved them to :(
Its a shame they decided not to stay at FRG this time around.
Nice to have the Birds back. Unfortunately my drives can no longer read the CD where I saved my Thunderbird photos to from their last appearance(2009?). %@#!
Always enjoyed this one from Air and Space.

My sister lives under the flight path, two blocks over. I'm with Moose. Pretty cool item to frame.
If anybody has a chance, I recommend reading 747 by Joe Sutter. As you know, Sutter was in charge of the design and development of the 747. Great read.
Appears to be with Castle Air Museum in California. Some nice facts and videos can be found from the site below.

Really digging all of these, especially the "oldie" shots. Nice to see, especially in the pixel perfect digital world of today. Thanks for posting.

These are probably outside of your control... Is there any way to drop the WIX ads? Takes away from the professional look. Too bad the gallery modal window doesn't resize to fit in the browser...
Found the below pic on the warthog news facebook page.

Yes, thanks for sharing. Instead of ctrl-a, ctrl-c, and ctrl-d, just do ctrl-j.
I was laughing so hard seeing that old man run away with the log books and coming back later to take the plane from the hanger. And the ending with the touch and go landing was predictable but just...
