Believe me, I use that term out of the highest respect. There aren't many of us around that can say they've photographed VC-10's @JFK(and I don't know why I didn't buy that print off him at the...

Apparently, some folks were very unhappy when Yahoo first bought flickr. But to me, it worked as it should, and they kept their greedy corporate hands out of the pot. That has all changed with this...
Oh...my.....GOD
That Mriya is so damn beautiful, Russia gets mad props from me on that one
Wow, Art Brett! That dude is the man when it comes to ancient JFK shots
And as always, nice shots Moose
I totally, 100% agree with that reasoning. As a plane photographer, I try to keep people out of my scenes anyway, because they just muck up my shots!
I just think that once you aquire power,...
Not sure how many of you have flickr accounts but they just pushed through a major change that there are a lot of complaints about. I myself have already submitted a complaint about this, given that...
I don't care who their clients are or how much the FBO's receive from them. Once you step outside you are not entitled to expect to not be photographed. What an outlandish, and elitist, assumption....
excellent! loved those
I don't see how that is even remotely legal.
It kind of looked like the passengers were facing rearwards! Great light for these Don, I love the angle of the first shot of the German 744
Good Lord...I certainly hope this doesn't happen to any of us
All of this talk about trouble during spotting has gotten my imagination to start churning. So 2 nights ago I had a dream I was spotting(@JFK, for some reason my dreams are never at any other...
Very nice Moose! How did you get so high in that shot with the 757 landing? I remember trying a shot like that there a few years ago but I don't remember the park having the elevation for it, maybe...
What a sweet opportunity, great job with it
So many interesting liveries, thanks for posting!
And it looks like United's Ecoskies was diverted to PHL due to what happened(too dark for pictures)- you can see the holding pattern they were in for a bit

Nice shots John, I'm after the Copa Star as well
The number of times I've been honked at while driving past EWR on the NJ Tpke is uncountable
Nice job capturing the action Jeremy
I contemplated the same thing but from the Nikon end. Ultimately I decided to stick with the more versatile 70-300mm zoom range as putting a TC on a lens brings up the wide end as well
Nice catch of the Sabre as well Mark!
Great, thank you for the update Chris
This has been an excellent thread. It made me feel like I was enjoying a fine wine.
Great shots everyone
I already missed it? Dang it
Interesting. There was some talk, idle talk but talk nonethless, that the next clean sheet design from Boeing for a commercial airplane(think 797) was to be the 737 replacement. This 'Max' version...
