27 knots of cross-wind is one of those rare occasions when they do something other than 31L.

They did indeed fly to JRB, although the approach was a little different than usual.
The 412 was 23FH, the unmarked NYPD helo.
That pilot would have had some big-a** balls to try and shoot 31L today, but I won't lie for a few minutes we were worried he was going to try it
Actually they replaced Aviation 12 with Aviation 22 and they also have Aviation 23 (N23FH) the "unmarked" Bell 412 like Mateo wrote..
And its no secret, LOL!!

Eric nice pics. AF1 stands out in any lighting condition...
22s passing by/over/near my house here in Eastern Nassau. And NWS has tornado warning for SW Suffolk.
Technically, it wasn't even a random neighborhood. I parked your ass right in the middle between 22 and 13 on 147th and Guy R. Brewer Blvd. MAJOR fail that day. I still feel guilty about it, even if I [also] missed the opportunity. Cary, don't ever trust a Cuban! ROTFL!!!
I am only going to be your chauffeur, I will NOT guide you  You can chose where you want me to take you... seriously, and heed my warning about trusting Cubans lol. Kenny, that means you too!!
I I also bring great weather [not] wherever I go. Frankly, if you want good luck, you need Mark "Zee71" who is SCARY lucky and just has this unnatural way of getting great ops to stick to him!
Cloudy and raining all day. Mark shows up about 10 minutes before the bird departs. Clouds open up and we get perfect (and i mean perfect) sunset afternoon lighting on the damn thing. Then as soon as it departs, clouds cover the horizon and there goes the light... amazing!
The C-17 came this morning and picked up the support stuff only to bring it back next week. My tax dollars at work.
