Weird. I didn't get any hassle at the 2007 show about taking this:

F-22 at Dayton Airshow in 2008 was off limits directly from behind... engines were covered and had an armed Marine asking everyone within earshot to not bother with pictures.

Here is a photo I took while flying one time and then I layered an airshow key to give you an idea of what you're dealing with.

FYI - they posted the schedule for the show and it looks like the B1-B is actually going to be based at McGuire for the entire weekend. I wish I could make it down there just to see that RARE on base BONE performance !!

Thanks for posting the schedule! Now I can't wait!!! Giggity!
I was planning to skip this show but with the BONE performing, I must go
Right now, I'm up in the air about attending, but would want to see the B-1.
come on guys, make the trip. If the weather is good count me in.
I plan to be there on Saturday. I don't want to miss BONE.
I'll be there all weekend especially since I'm about 35 minutes away. They also updated the static display and if everything shows, they are going to have a FANTASTIC ramp full of goodies! Heck, in 2000, 2005, 2007, and 2008 there were some good static displays... I do recall in 2008 one or two people got interrogated for taking close up photos of the Alaskan E-3 that showed up...
If you want to see photos of the 2008 McGuire show, here's photos from several friends:

I decided yesterday (Fri) that I was going to make the trip, now seeing the B-1 is going to be flying, my decision looks like a good one. Heading over first thing on Sat morning to be there for gate open. Hoping for a full day of good flying!
FYI- one of my buddies is at the DOD practice show right now and
he said the BONE is from Dyess and it's already on the HOT RAMP !!
Also, 2 F-18s from VMFA-112 "Cowboys" came in yesterday and they
will probably be apart of the MAGTF Demo also.
Anyway, enjoy the show tomorrow and GOOD LUCK with the traffic !!
I am just keeping my fingers crossed that the weather cooperates like it is today- I know stuff will be backlit especially in the PM but hoping I can make some kind of somthin happen, photographically speaking
Hope to see some of you out there! Let's gets some terrific shots of that B-1 posted!!!
