WHOA! There had to be some whiplash on that plane! Surprised it held up.
Maybe not the first hard landing of a Swiss BAE-146 at LCY but in August a Swiss BAE-146 had a very, very hard landing and ended up with damage to her belly. 3 months later she finally left LCY for Switzerland in December.
I flew in and out of LCY back in 2005 on an Air France BAE-146 and I have to say I certainly didn't have a hard landing but the angle of attack when you are on final approach is intense! When I got out of the plane I watched the same arrival that we had just followed except with a VLM F-50 and it was an incredible dive.
Looks like he also had a serious crosswind...he was crabbed about 15 degrees!
And that is why I love the jumbolino! It is such a great plane to fly on :borat: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
That was an enormous crosswind! Very hard landing...looks like the plane was swerving all over the runway!

Just look at the Wing Flex! Three bounces until this one finally came down... amazing
