New domino toppling record set

A new world record for the number of dominoes toppled in one go has been set in the Netherlands.

The record attempt began with a beauty queen dangling from a trapeze.

The falling dominoes revealed portraits of the likes of South American revolutionary Che Guevara and Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama.

Adventurer Steve Fosset appeared in a hot air balloon.

It took eight weeks to set up the dominoes and two hours for them to tumble.

There were 4,345,027 dominoes in all. They beat the record set in 2006 by 265,000 dominoes.

i would have to be 10 dominoes away from finishing and "oopsing" one over, ruining the entire setup.

Why not just beat it by one? That's what I would do. But then again, I'm lazy. :P
