I just installed an Alpine CDE-9874.

The amp that I intend to get is a Hifonics Zeus 1000w to run the speakers at 500w at 2ohms.

Yeah, a few 12s and an amp can't compete not only with my own system, but with my rusted Borla and lack of a cat converter. :)

Ask Kenny how I made my truck EXTRA annoying yesterday. He witnessed me fly through a deep puddle on Sheridan after leaving Bayswater, splashing passing cars...which we think had their windows open.

But seriously, though, not a bad system. I bet your Barry Manilow sounds great. :mrgreen:
