11, That's ELEVEN, times this college football season an unranked team BEAT a Top 5 team!!
Man you gotta love that. And the # 2 ranking seems to be the kiss of death for a team!!
And last night what an exciting finish to the Boston College-Clemson game!! Matt Ryan bombs away!!

Yeah, no kidding. It has been one hell of a college season. I can safely say that about 90% of my season calls have fallen apart.

What a game witrh 3 overtimes. I was PISSED about Texas though.

So in the immortal words of ESPN announcer Mike Patrick.."Are you KIDDING ME"?
Yesterday, the final weekend of the regular season for college football saw both the #1 team
AND the #2 team BOTH LOSE. This was the 2nd!!!! weekend in a row this has happened!!
AND...for the 13th time a second ranked team was defeated by an unranked team (Pitts exciting
victory over West Va.).
AND... early this morning (after 3AM EST) Hawaii rallied from a 28-7 deficit to beat Washington and
became the ONLY Division 1 team to have an undefeated season at 12-0!!! And talk about
exciting, Hawaii won by scoring a TD with about :44 seconds left THEN had to hold off Washington
with a 2nd and goal endzone deflection interception with about :10 seconds left!!!
That sound you hear is the BCS computer shaking and smoking and rattling as it tries to figure out
the final rankings, who will play in what bowl and,ultimately,who will play for the National
Championship. You can see it all tonite at 8PM on ESPN, the Bowl selection show!!
What a great, yes wacky, season.

and the only undefeated team Hawaii 12-0, does NOT get to play in the BCS title game, because they are not in a "Big" conference. What a shame. I hope they smack the crap out of Georgia on New Year's Day!

Me too. Actually got to watch a number of their games as FSN here in NY usually put them on
late Sat. night. Exciting team. Happy to see them at least get in a BCS bowl game.
