Yes, my old car was a 6 Speed Manual. I can drive and have driven everythign from a Three speed on the Tree to a EATON-FULLER 18 Speed Lo Lo manual gear box. I drive in my personal car (Dodge Magnum RT) a 5 Speed Automatic. Yes damn it I miss the Manual and I do prefer it in sports cars, small cars and huge trucks. Though in Family cars, vans and SUVs/Pickups auto is the way to go. If you have a VW then its an unwirtten rule to have it stick same with a Jeep TJ

I did work on that building and the roof is actually designed for use as a heliport! So I would imagine the loads to the structure aren't an issue. However, docking something that large with so many people below would present its own set of issues. It probably just isn't worth the risk despite the coolness factor.
