VIDEO: Russian Tu-154 Averts Disaster After Losing Flight Control

Reports indicate that this Tupolev Tu-154 (RA-85563) was operating a test flight after being stored for as many as 10 years. Shortly after takeoff, it developed a problem with its control surfaces and was unable to maintain steady flight, with extreme pitch and yaw issues.

As indicated in the second video, the aircraft was able to land safely, seemingly without injury.
