Hawaiian Airlines Receives First Wingletted 767
November 9th, 2009 • By Phil Derner Jr.
In yet another addition to the interesting aircraft that LAX will see, Hawaiian Airlines has received its first Boeing 767-300ER with winglets. They expect to have at least eight of their 767 aircraft retro-fitted with the airflow-improving devices by next Summer.
Joining nearly a dozen airlines that have so far received winglets on 767s, Hawaiian is one-upping some of them by skipping a plain winglet and painting their trademark hibiscus flowers on the outside of them.
